A memorial ring in the style of a cluster featuring an oval ruby in a millegriffe setting surrounded by eight half pearls similarly set joined with trifurcating shoulders engraved with volutes and formerly filled with black enamel now deficient.
These connected to a shoulder feature engraved with a four-petalled flower and a three-part incurved shank.
The underneath contains a vacant memorial locket and engraved mourning sentiment.
Hallmarked: 18ct gold, London, 1842.
Maker’s mark: “J.L.”.
Engraved: “Ob. 16 Aug. 1842” and “F.A. Stycher”.
